Welcome to Lamb of God Ministries' website. Established in 1998, the Lamb of God Ministries is a nondenominational organization dedicated to ministering the life changing gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to residents of community care agencies, such as nursing homes, retirement care centers, group homes, adult daycare centers, and hospices.
The Lamb of God Ministries serve the community care population by:
- Providing services for many who can no longer attend worship services in their community.
- Providing biblically-based Pastoral counseling.
- Supporting the community in which we live and work.
- Striving for excellence throughout the organization
About Us
Lamb of God Ministries, incorporated as a New York nonprofit, 501c(3) corporation in 1998, is dedicated to improving the quality of life of the elderly, the disabled, and the needy through evangelical pastoral care. The Lamb of God Ministries was founded by Rev. Eric W. Cook and Dr. Marie Y. Nicolas-Cook, a couple who felt a calling from the Lord to minister to the elderly, the disabled, and their caregivers. Since its inception, the leadership and staff of the Lamb of God Ministries have served as volunteers (without pay).
Shortly after the start-up of the organization, the Lamb of God Ministries has been providing Christ-centered services that benefit clients and staff of care facilities in the Long Island, New York area. Drs. Eric and Marie invite you to be a part of this exciting ministry by helping with the funding for operations to our nation's underserved elderly, disabled, needy, and their caregivers.
Funding
Since its inception, the Lamb of God Ministries has operated on contributions from private individuals. Please contact us to make a tax-deductible donation in support of this ministry.
Who We Serve
The Lamb of God Ministries serves the elderly and disabled younger adults living in nursing homes, retirement care centers, group homes, hospices, or those served by adult daycare centers. Shortly after its founding, the organization has served small to medium-sized care facilities that do not have a paid chaplain on staff. The Lamb of God Ministries has provided spiritual support to these clients at no cost.
